Today is a good day! I have a flag and an empty back pack swinging from the lightpost.

When you move your family around the world things have to give. Most of the time its the furniture at the hands of crap movers but sometimes its stuff that is more important.
The oldest Baby Clog has lived in 5 different countries and changed languages 4 times. This has had an impact on his schooling. We want our kids to grow up in the neighbourhood where we live and go to school with the friends in the street where they play so they always go to the local school. You may consider that selfish and ask why we don't send them to an international school. It is our choice and it works for us. Every family is different and that's our standard reply.

Today the Oldest Baby Cloggy received his exam results - HE PASSED! He has his high school diploma and whats more he has been accepted at the school of his choice (in the Netherlands) for his college study. It took him a wee bit longer than expected but he hung in there and achieved his goals!

Today I am the proudest Mother in the world. Grey haired but proud!

In the Netherlands when your child has achieved their high school diploma it is tradition to hang the national flag and the kids empty school back pack from the flag pole. In the absence of a flag pole Cloggy and I hung it from the street lamp outside the front of the house.

1 Baby Cloggy down - 2 Baby Cloggys to go!

If your wondering why the lamp post is slightly leaning to the left it because the Oldest Baby Cloggy nudged it with the car last Sunday.
