MA1 EHV vs Bully MA1 3 - 1 Gewonen

This was always going to be an interesting game. How would MA1 perform against the first serious competition of the season? I was very nervous. The difference between a win or loss was all about discipline and workrate.
 
EHV started the game with a new defensive formation. Niki van Urk stood in as 'Lastman' and gave a solid performance. Strong support from her defensive line enabled EHV to launch counter offensive plays of which Bully struggled to defend.
Again the EHV mid-field were formidable. The 3 'C's. Cool, calm and calculated.
 
Goals were scored by Maaike vd Graaf (1) and Hanne Kelder (2).
 
To choose a 'Man of the match' this week is very difficult because everyone was under pressure and worked hard. Leanne Sijgers played 70 minutes without needing a word of coaching from me. Dus ..

Many Thanks are also extended to our umpires, Mr. Heslinga and Mr. Koopman for agreeing to take over the dienst from the OomPah-LoomPah's (OL's = youth section) who had been scheduled. Both of the OL's were very relieved and fulfilled their umpiring duty (very well) with younger EHV teams.
 
Next week uit vs Deventer MA1 @ 16:00. Its going to be a hard game so we really need ALL of our Publiek in attendance. Your voice will make the difference!
